The name Inigo, is taken from “Inigo Jones,” the man some say was the Great British Architect who brought Italianate Renaissance Architecture to England.
DESIGN & BUILD CONCEPT
The Design & Build or “Master Builder” concept dates back at least 5,000 years ago. The Parthenon, Great Pyramids, Pentagon and Brooklyn Bridge were all built under this concept.
The benefit of Design & Build is simply; One entity takes all responsibility and accountability for the whole project from start to finish. A collective group environment is established making communication fluid between all workers whether in the office or on the job site. This also contributes to the design integrity staying in tact, change orders are kept to a minimum and long delays are avoided.
IDB 3 STEP PROCESS
I. During the initial consultation done in the comfort of your home or office; We will discuss your overall vision and goals for your space, understand what your likes & dislikes are, and establish a project budget and time-line.
II. A formal proposal will be presented within 5 business days. It will include our Interior Design services, a detailed scope of work, fixed labor costs and estimates for finish and raw material costs.
III. With a signed contract in place, a schedule will be established for:
–Paper work submitted for alteration agreements and or permits started
-Conceptual ideas to be laid out
-Measurements to be taken
-Shopping of material and finishes
-Ordering and expediting of all material and finishes
-Schedule of labor to begin
